Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey uses a base of 51% malt and is aged in new charred oak barrels, making it a richly flavorful and complex malt whiskey for bourbon drinkers. Amplifying the nutty characteristics found in the original Woodford Reserve, this Kentucky whiskey features flavor notes of dark chocolate and caramel-coated nuts with a dusting of cocoa powder and brown spice along with a fruit medley and toasted coconut with a rich, bright oak character. Each Woodford Reserve whiskey bottle combines soft nutty notes with caramel, milk chocolate and fruit character with hints of brown spice, mint and brown sugar and rich toasted oak aromas. The finish features nutty, subtly sweet chocolate malt notes.
