Product Details
W.L. Weller Special Reserve 1L stands as a testament to William Larue Weller's revolutionary approach to bourbon craftsmanship. This wheated bourbon eschews rye in favor of wheat, yielding a distinctly soft and approachable spirit without sacrificing complexity. Aged in new charred oak, it develops a sophisticated profile marked by caramel sweetness, vanilla undertones, and subtle spice notes that harmonize beautifully across the palate. The result is a well-rounded, smooth bourbon that appeals equally to seasoned collectors and those discovering premium whiskey. Weller's 19th-century innovation—replacing rye with wheat in the mash bill—fundamentally altered bourbon production and established a legacy of quality that continues to define excellence in the category. This is bourbon crafted with unwavering dedication to tradition and refinement.
About Weller
Weller is the original wheated bourbon, made with wheat instead of rye, creating a smoother whiskey. One of the most sought after bourbons in the world, it is perfect for those with a refined taste for the finer things in life.
