W.L. Weller 12 Year is the original wheated bourbon, made with wheat instead of rye in the mash bill for a softer, smoother pour than traditional Kentucky bourbons. Aged 12 years and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), it shows aromas of lanolin, almond, creamed corn and toasty vanilla, a heavily wheated, layered mid-palate, and a long, oaky, intensely smooth finish. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks. This is the 700 ml bottling.
