The Last Drop's 50 Year Old Double Matured represents a masterwork of blending expertise. Crafted from over fifty distinguished Scotch whiskies, this ultra-premium expression was initially aged 30 years before a select portion underwent a remarkable second maturation in Spanish Hogshead casks previously seasoned with Oloroso sherry. This two-decade finishing in a traditional Lowlands warehouse imparted extraordinary richness and complexity. Bottled in late 2015 at 51.8% ABV, only 898 bottles were released, making this an exceptionally rare and collectible dram that showcases the pinnacle of Scottish whisky craftsmanship.
