Product Details
Tequila Ocho Las Raíces 2024 Añejo is a single-estate tequila that showcases the unique terroir of Las Raíces (“The Roots”), a high-elevation ranch located 7.5 km east of Los Alambiques. This gentle south-facing hillside sits at 7,145 feet and is divided by a small forest of ash, oak, and poplar trees. The soil is the classic red clay of Los Altos, rich in iron and potassium, contributing depth and character to the agave grown there.
In the past 25 years, agave has only been planted on this land twice, and the 2024 harvest comes from approximately 142,000 fully matured agave plants — the largest ranch ever used in Tequila Ocho production. The harvest is estimated at 3,500 tons, with an average piña weight of 55 pounds and an impressive 32% sugar content, resulting in a rich, expressive tequila.
Aged in oak barrels, this Añejo delivers layered notes of cooked agave, caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spice, balanced by the bright, earthy character that defines Tequila Ocho’s single-estate philosophy. A true vintage tequila that reflects the land, the harvest, and the year.
