Platino is a unique blend of triple-distilled, hand-crafted spirits, married in a special process, and then filtered and refined to create a Rum of exceptionally clean taste, delicate balance and subtle flavor. Founded in 1872, MATUSALEM® Rum has been known as the rebel of rums that was forced out of Cuba by Castro. In this spirit it was the first, and one of the very few still today, to use the Solera aging and blending principles — a technique originally developed for the production of sherry and brandy.
