Colonel Armstrong Wheated Bourbon represents Redwood Empire's commitment to crafting distinctive spirits with purpose. This 94-proof wheated bourbon blends 59% corn, 30% wheat, 6% rye, and 5% malt barley, aged upwards of 14 years in a 122-barrel blend.
The palate delivers a soft, rounded mouthfeel with layered notes of ripe stone fruit, vanilla, and honeyed grain, complemented by hints of strawberry and gentle baking spice. A smooth oak finish rounds out this deep golden whiskey.
Named after Colonel James Armstrong, who preserved what is now Armstrong Woods by gifting the land to his daughter, this wheated bourbon captures the warm, nostalgic character of its namesake.
