RD1 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a 98-proof spirit crafted entirely in Kentucky. Distilled using 100% copper equipment and aged 4+ years, this bourbon features a traditional mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, combined with local limestone well water.
The custom glass bottle honors Lexington's distilling heritage, featuring etched horse farm fences and a neck label inspired by the historic Ashland Distillery. The tasting experience opens with aromas of vanilla wafers and roasted almonds, followed by orange, honeyed caramel, herbal tea, and peppery oak. The finish is long and warm, ending dry with hints of ginger and cinnamon.
