Penelope Toasted Rye Whiskey

Penelope Toasted Rye represents our annual celebration of craft and serendipity in straight rye whiskey. This special release features a 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley mash bill, fully matured in charred new American oak before finishing in a Char 2, Heavy Toast barrel. Bottled at 100 proof, it delivers a sophisticated profile: toasted marshmallow and warm caramel on the palate, with vanilla, toffee, and leather notes, finishing with toasted oak, brown sugar, and lingering spice. A refined expression that showcases the art of barrel finishing.

Penelope Bourbon was crafted and created in a classic American tradition – to celebrate an impending birth of a child. In 2018, Mike Paladini and his wife, Kerry, found out they were expecting a baby girl, Penelope. To commemorate this occasion, Mike quickly realized he wanted to create a spirit that embodied the daily joy of celebrating life’s pleasures – big and small.
