New Riff Kentucky Wild Gin is a distinctive spirit crafted with eleven botanicals distilled in a copper pot still. This 94-proof gin blends traditional European gin ingredients—angelica, orris root, licorice, and three citrus varieties—with locally foraged Kentucky botanicals including wild juniper berry and American Allspice (Spicebush), both recognized on the Slow Food Ark of Taste. A touch of new make rye whiskey enriches the texture and extends the finish.
Bottled without chill filtration to preserve full flavor and aroma, this gin delivers a complex profile: a nose of classic botanicals with unique American allspice accents, a palate of spicy-dry notes backed by rye richness, and a lively finish of citrus-spice with balanced juniper. The non-chill-filtered character may cloud slightly when chilled—a natural and delicious expression of its craft.
