New Riff Distilling's flagship Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a high-rye expression bottled in bond without chill filtration. Crafted from a mash bill of 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley, this 100-proof spirit is aged a minimum of four years in new charred oak barrels using the full sour mash Kentucky regimen.
The result is a full-bodied whiskey with savory, spicy character. On the nose, butterscotch and fresh oak give way to vanilla and rye spice. The palate delivers a broad, fulsome mouthfeel with vanilla sweetness followed by layers of clove, cinnamon, mint, and dark berry. The finish is long and rye-led, with brambly red-black fruits, white pepper, and clove.
