La Grande Dame pays tribute to Madame Clicquot.
In 1818, she crafted the first known "ros d'assemblage" by blending some of her Bouzy red wines with her white wines. Madame Clicquot used to say: "Our black grapes give the finest white wines". The glory of Pinot Noir. La Grande Dame Ros 2012 respects her vision with 90% Pinot Noir coming mainly from the historic Grand Crus of our terroir as well as a red wine added to the blend from a single parcel: the Parcelle 'Clos Colin' located in Bouzy, a Grand Cru terroir.
This exceptional and rare cuve could be defined in three words: verticality, elegance and solarity. In keeping with this quest for perfection aligned with the spirit of the House and Madame Clicquot, Veuve Clicquot reveals this 9th edition of La Grande Dame Ros: La Grande Dame Ros 2012.
