Compass Box Glasgow Blend is an old-school peaty blended Scotch whisky crafted to honor the historical tastes of Glaswegians, who have long preferred fuller-bodied, more flavor-packed whiskies. With approximately 65% malt content inspired by 100-year-old recipes, this blend combines Highland and Islay single malts with Lowland grain, matured in Sherry-seasoned butts, American Oak barrels, hogsheads, and custom French Oak casks.
Full, bold and smoky on the palate, Glasgow Blend unites rich spice and fruitcake-like notes from Sherry cask aging with the maritime punch of Islay malt whisky. Aromas of sherry and smoke define this distinctive dram.
Bottled at 43% ABV with natural color and no chill filtration, Glasgow Blend is wonderful poured neat or with a splash of water in a tumbler or wine glass. Its added weight brings extra depth to whisky-based cocktails, making it perfect for pre- or post-dinner enjoyment.
