Gran Centenario® is a family-owned product crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Gran Centenario® Plata is distilled from carefully selected blue agave, water and yeast – that’s it! The result is a 100% agave tequila of unusual smoothness and quality. Our Plata is the winner of various awards including a DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Does not contain additives. (ABV 40% – 80 proof).
About Gran Centenario
Established in 1857 by Lázaro Gallardo, Gran Centenario® Tequila remains a family-owned business and is still crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico at Ex Hacienda Los Camichines. The First Maestro Tequilero Lázaro Gallardo is claimed to be the first tequila master distiller (maestro tequilero) in history, as he created the Selección Suave process. By this process, he would only pick the richest, smoothest tequila and blend them together, creating a product with superior quality. This process is still in place while producing our tequila.
