Fortune's Fool The Overture is a masterfully crafted straight rye whiskey aged 3 years in American oak barrels. The staves are seasoned in the open air for 24 months, carefully charred and toasted over oak fires, then hand-shaped to perfection.
This award-winning spirit reveals a complex flavor journey. On the nose, discover baking spices, vanilla, and citrus. The first sip brings light spice with hints of berry, followed by notes of dried orange, warm honey, and oak. The finish rounds with faint peach notes and a warm, definitive character.
