Cincoro Añejo Tequila derives its distinctive aroma and flavor from a specialized aging process. Initially, the barrels were used for Tennessee whiskey, and then Cincoro Blanco is matured in them for 24 to 28 months in an underground cellar—significantly longer than the one-year minimum for Añejo classification. This method enhances the Blanco's inherent smoothness, imparting subtle aromas of toasted oak and maple. The palate reveals sweet cooked agave, delicate butterscotch, and baking spices, culminating in an exceptionally long, elegant finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate.
