Cascahuin Blanco Trio Bundle
Product Details
Three unaged Cascahuin tequilas, three ways of making them: brick-oven Blanco, stone-milled Tahona and the undiluted, unfiltered Plata 48. Same family, same agave country, very different glasses.
Cascahuin Blanco — 750 ml, 40% ABV (80 proof). Agave cooked in brick ovens from the mineral-rich soils of El Arenal, Jalisco. Bright citrus, fresh herbs and sweet cooked agave with a whisper of bitterness and a crisp finish.
Cascahuin Tahona Blanco — 750 ml, 42% ABV (84 proof). Juice pressed with a traditional stone tahona mill. Sweet and herbal on the nose with earthy Valles-zone depth, then cooked agave, tropical fruit and a long, textured finish.
Cascahuin Plata 48 — 750 ml, 48% ABV (96 proof). Bottled without dilution or filtration in small batches of no more than 2,500 liters. Mint, fresh herbs and citrus up front, then honey, cooked agave and ripe fruit with a long, sweet finish.
Three 750 ml bottles. Taste them in order of proof, 40 to 42 to 48.
Label note: the photos show the Mexican-market label for the Blanco, which reads 38% ABV. The Blanco we sell is the U.S. import, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
