Product Details
Cascahuin Añejo spends 14 to 16 months in American oak and is bottled at 44% ABV, a little above standard strength, for a fuller, richer pour. 750 ml.
Dark chocolate, dried fruit and toasted wood open on the nose. The palate is velvety, with butterscotch, cinnamon and mature agave, and the barrel adds a pleasing dryness against the spirit's natural sweetness. The finish is long and warming. Made by the Rosales family at their distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco (NOM 1123).
Label note: the photo shows the Mexican-market label, which reads 38% ABV. The bottle we sell is the U.S. import, bottled at 44% ABV (88 proof).
