Distilled by a 4th generation family of Mezcaleros, this artisanal mezcal embodies a deep commitment to traditional methods and superior quality. Each step in making Casamigos Mezcal, from harvesting to distillation, reflects a time-honored approach. Agave pinas are split and slow-cooked in earthen pits lined with volcanic rocks, imparting the signature smoky flavor. After cooling, the agave is crushed using a traditional Tahona wheel and ferments for 6-8 days before being double distilled in copper pot stills. Crystal clear, Casamigos Mezcal boasts a fragrant aroma of herbal and fruity notes with subtle smoke. The palate is a balanced mix of tamarind, pomegranate, mint, and black pepper, finished with a smooth, smoky touch.
