Established in 1970 by wine industry pioneer David Hohnen, Cape Mentelle is one of Margaret River's founding wineries. Now a classic Margaret River wine, the Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend is the flagship of Cape Mentelle. The duality of this wine echoes the two forces governing the terroir: land and ocean. While the ocean freshness comes through the Sauvignon Blanc, the land is expressed through the texture of the Semillon. Wine is a great way to discover the world, especially remote places which are difficult to reach. Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is the Margaret River region in a bottle comprising two parts, the wine is the incarnation of the ocean and land.
